Artist Statement:. Art has been a big part of my life for over 50 years, from the first time I saw Salvador Dali’s Persistence of Memory, I knew what my future will be as an artist. From drawing and 3d assemblages* to decorative painted furniture and always acrylic painting, my life has been full of making art. From drawing and 3d assemblages* to decorative painted furniture and always acrylic painting, my life has been full of making art. I continue to be amazed, never really expecting what lies ahead, starting with the first idea and brush stroke. The challenges are always there that pushes me to create. Michael is also the Curator of Exhibitions at the Cape Cod Museum of Art, since 2003. He was the Chief Art Preparator at the Gregg Museum of Art and Design for 10 years at North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC. He has taught art at Pope John Paul II High... Read full biography
