Born in 1971, Mirella Stern graduated from the Pedagogical Academy of Krakow at the Faculty of Art. She obtained a diploma in painting in the studio of Dr. Alexander Pienek. In the years 2000-10, Stern took part in many group exhibitions in the country. Currently, she continues her individual creative work, devoting herself to painting and designing scenography for theater performances. The main theme of the artist's works is man. Currently, she continues her individual creative work, devoting herself to painting and designing scenography for theater performances. The main theme of the artist's works is man. The painter willingly uses the term "man seen from the inside". Most often, it presents people in the form of wooden dolls, puppets, stone statues, allowing them to tell their own short story, momentarily captured in the picture.
