Around 1947, he enrolled in a correspondence drawing school, made his first watercolors, then pastels and paintings. In 1953, Khadda arrived in Paris where he visited museums and galleries for a long time. Khadda participated in several exhibitions, including that of new realities in 1955, 1957 and 1958. Around 1947, he enrolled in a correspondence drawing school, made his first watercolors, then pastels and paintings. In 1953, Khadda arrived in Paris where he visited museums and galleries for a long time. Khadda participated in several exhibitions, including that of new realities in 1955, 1957 and 1958. He made his first solo exhibition in 1961, then returned to Algeria in 1963 where he exhibited regularly. Mohamed was a founding member in 1964 of the "National Union of Plastic Arts" which he was the secretary from 1972 to 1975.
