As we can see here, the echoes of their work can be seen in the work of numerous sculptors, painters and architects from the 1950s to the present day. Irazu entered the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of the Basque Country/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, where he graduated with a degree in sculpture in 1986.
