Peter Bonnén began as a sculptor from the Danish EKS-skolen (“The Experimental School”) in 1962, the alternative to the Royal Academy with its focus on the artistic process and anti-stylization. Today, his often monumental works follow in the wake of minimalism and conceptual art. Since 1973, apart from having works in parks and public places throughout Denmark, Bonnén has worked as the senior consultant in “Foreningen Kunst på Arbejdspladsen”, an organization trying to boost and promote the place of art in the business spheres.
