Between 1925-1930, Ramiro ARRUE painted a number of portraits, a genre he tended to abandon over the years. Ramiro was is in full force of age and then meets his greatest artistic success. Between 1925-1930, Ramiro ARRUE painted a number of portraits, a genre he tended to abandon over the years. Ramiro was is in full force of age and then meets his greatest artistic success. A few self-portraits reflect this perfectly. But, in his personal life, he certainly also lived a great happiness as evidenced by several period photographs with Suzanne Blanché, a Luzienne who ended up convincing Ramiro to settle in the city of the corsairs.
