Randy Solon, also known as Randy 'Anloi' Solon, was born in 1971 in the Philippines. He is known for his Hyperrealism paintings of animals, with some works featuring a bluish sheen. One of his artworks depicts a live white bird seemingly trapped inside the ribcage of a wolf, expressing the desire and yearning for freedom. Randy Solon, also known as Randy 'Anloi' Solon, was born in 1971 in the Philippines. He is known for his Hyperrealism paintings of animals, with some works featuring a bluish sheen. One of his artworks depicts a live white bird seemingly trapped inside the ribcage of a wolf, expressing the desire and yearning for freedom. Solon won the Grand Prize in the 2006-2007 National Telephone Directory Cover competition and was a finalist in the Shell national students painting competition in 2005, 2006, and 2007. He earned a BFA in Painting from the College of Fine Arts at the University of the Philippines and a Certificate in Advertising from the Philippines Women's University in Manila.
