"Ruby Daniel Napurrula was born in 1961 and she lives at the Docker River Community (Kaltukatjara), which is located southwest of Alice Springs and west of Stuart Highway. Her mother is the highly acclaimed artist Linda Syddick and often paints alongside Linda and her daughter Samantha Daniels Napaltjarri. Ruby has been painting since 1996 and is proud to promote her culture through her artwork that was taught to her by her Grandparents and mother. Ruby’s style heavily incorporates lines and dots that are connected via band-like shapes to different sized polygons and roundels. Ruby mainly uses rich colors of yellows, reds, pinks, purples, and calming blues, which result in a vibrant landscape of colours. "
