A friendship was born between the two and an exchange of relationships with the Macchiaiolo group that influenced the first production of Focardi characterized by the study from life of nature... A friendship was born between the two and an exchange of relationships with the Macchiaiolo group that influenced the first production of Focardi characterized by the study from life of nature rendered with brilliant brushstrokes spread out in stain. Participation, at the beginning of the twentieth century, in the Alinari competition to illustrate the Divine Comedy, brought Focardi closer to the symbolist divisionism of Previati. The...
