She eventually settled in Rockport, MA where she also had her studio. She was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and studied under John Enser. Her paintings were in a colorful impressionist style,and she is best known for seascapes around Rockport and Gloucester and landscapes in Vermont and Maine reminiscent of Aldro Hibbard's style.
