In 1970, he developed his workshop in the street of Algiers to accommodate many artists and intellectuals. Two years later he moved to Casablanca to a hotel room facing the sea. This was to be the beginning of what he called "debris collected in the landscapes". During the five years following he exhibited regularly in Morocco, dividing his time between Paris, Casablanca and Venice.
