Sepp Hilz, a German painter, learned painting from his father and studied in Munich in the 1920s. He gained recognition for his portraits, religious paintings, landscapes, and genre scenes. Hilz participated in Great German Art Exhibitions during 1938-1944, which were later boycotted post-war. However, his talent prevailed, and his paintings returned to exhibition halls in 1956.
