Wu Shixian, also known as Qingyun, was a famous painter of the modern Shanghai school. He was born in Shangyuan, which is now Nanjing, and lived in Shanghai. He was skilled in using Western methods and was also good at Mi Fu and Gao Kegong two ink operas. However, his style was more vulgar, and there was no empty spirit. He was famous for his "Shu Road Travel Map" and Yunfeng's plank road, which used pen and ink, purely from Wang Meng's womb, but he did not do much.
