Already as a young man, Lundberg became interested in drawing and painting, and without his parents' knowledge, he skipped school for two years to devote himself entirely to this very thing. After studying at Althin's painting school in Stockholm and in Copenhagen and Munich, Sture Lundberg settled in Florence in 1920. Only a few drawings and paintings are preserved and his works are rarely seen on the market. The auction was drawn in 1924, probably in Italy, and shows Lundberg's technical skills.
