In 1914, he also studied with Jacek Malczewski. He traveled to France, the Netherlands, Italy, and the Balkans. He actively participated in the artistic life of interwar Warsaw. He exhibited widely and held numerous social and organizational roles within the visual arts community. He was a member of the Formists and Rhythm and Ryt groups. He also worked in woodcuts, painting on ceramics and fabrics, interior decoration, and applied art projects.
