Willem Jean Frederic Imandt is known for his beautiful Indonesian landscapes. Imandt was born in 1882 in St. Jansteen, The Netherlands. His contemporaries, Leo Eland (1884-1952), Carel Lodewijk Dake Jr. (1886-1946), Gerard Pieter Adolfs (1897-1968) and Ernest Dézentjé (1884-1972), were also known for Indonesian landscapes.
