He developed his own painting style, based on an innovative technique, the so-called "Old icon". He was the founder and head of the Drawing Form Studio in Bielsko-Biala. He developed his own painting style, based on an innovative technique, the so-called "Old icon". He was the founder and head of the Drawing Form Studio in Bielsko-Biala. Starting in 1953 he was a member of ZPAP. In recognition of painting, he was honored in 1961 with the Minister of Culture and Art's award for lifetime achievement.
