    Adam Hoffmann was a Polish artist born in 1925. He studied at various institutions including the Jagiellonian University, Kunstgewerbeschule, and the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. He worked as an educator at various art schools and was a draftsman, painter, and poster artist. Hoffmann was a peer of the artists from Grupa Krakowska and was friends with Jerzy Nowosielski and Jerzy Skarzynski. However, he remained in opposition to the painting avant-garde and created his own individual world. His artwork focused on the relationship between men and women, which he presented in a grotesque, caricatured, and sarcastic manner.
