    Adrien Dupagne was a Belgian artist who studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Liege under Adrien de Witte, Oscar Berchmans, and Évariste Carpentier. He graduated as a sculptor in 1910 and also learned to paint by studying the old masters in museums. He worked as a sculptor on the decoration of the Titanic in London in 1912 and exhibited his works at various salons and exhibitions in Paris, Venice, and London. He traveled extensively throughout Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa, and brought back numerous drawings, watercolors, and paintings.
