He also painted landscapes and still life's. His style was realism. He is self taught and did not begin painting until shortly after he came to Canada. He worked first in a department store and then as a painting restorer. He began showing his work in 1947 at the department stores, Simpson's and Eaton's (1947-50), and collectors still prize finding his paintings with their labels on the back.... Read full biography
