Painter, engraver, lithographer, teacher and researcher, Albert Gonzalo claims to live in symbiosis with his work. From the beginning he has been fascinated by the Orient, always his source of inspiration. He first became interested in Sufi philosophy, which Islamic thought opened the door for him. He undertook, in his readings and his travels, a journey through the religions and cultures of the entire East, from India to Japan through China; from Zen Buddhism to Taoism, without forgetting its classical Mediterranean roots.
