    Alejandro Miguel Viladrich is an Argentinean artist born to a family of artists. He trained at the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Aires Prilidiano Pueyrredón and worked as his father's assistant before furthering his training at the Río de la Plata workshop with Alberto Delmonte and Jorge Rivara.

    He joined Delmonte's Taller Sur in 1980, which initiated an Americanist orientation along the lines of Torres García. Viladrich has participated in most of the group exhibitions organised by this workshop and has combined his artistic practice with teaching since 1981.
