    Alexander Laszenko (Antonówka 1883 - 1944 Wloclawek) was a painter and a traveler. He studied painting in St. Petersburg (1901-1904). After graduating from the officer's school in St. Petersburg (1904) he served in the artillery units Leib-Guard. He traveled a lot - in 1897/98 he was in Egypt, which truly fascinated him. He returned there many times, also traveled to Algeria, Morocco, Tunis, Palestine and Jordan. In the years 1903-1909, he traveled around the world, also visited the European countries. In 1918 he settled permanently in Poland - first in Wola Pine, and later in Wloclawek. Then he devoted himself completely to painting.
