    Alfredo Sosabravo was a Cuban artist who was trained at the Escuela Elemental de Artes Plásticas Aplicadas Anexa a la Academia de Artes Plásticas San Alejandro in Havana. He was known for his colorful and primitive paintings, drawings, printmaking, and ceramics. Sosabravo's work was characterized by pure color inserted in a form of thick lines that drew a fantastic world but within reach. He used a color palette composed of bright shades and primary colors, which gave the idea of primitive painting linked to the naive and the spontaneous.
