    André Delacroix, originally from Constantine, was a student at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Algiers. He spent many years in Asia, particularly in Indochina and Cambodia, before settling in Sidi Bou Saïd, Tunisia, in 1920. Delacroix exhibited at the 1921-1923 Salon Tunisien and was a member of the Société Coloniale des Artistes Français. He also played a role in founding the Société des Artistes Tunisiens in 1924. Throughout his career, Delacroix focused on capturing the landscapes of the countries he visited, showcasing his interpretations through his vibrant palette. His artworks include scenes from Sidi Bou Saïd, Carthage, Radès, La Briqueterie, as well as depictions of Cambodia, Indochinese rivers, Marseille, and the old port....
