    Andrea Vaccaro lived from around 1604 to 1670.

    Was the De Dominici to document the activities of the scribe and interpreter of Caravaggio young Andrea Vaccaro, with results to the point estimated to induce the father of the biographer to sell the works such as the original Lombard master. The fact, however, should not be considered just an anecdote on the nonchalance of the seventeenth-century art market, but highlights the virtues' quality of the painter and his undoubted contribution to the Neapolitan naturalistic painting.
