About Angelina Gualdoni

  • Biography

A native of St. Louis, Angelina Gualdoni studied painting and installation art at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore and then went to Chicago to pursue a professional career. One of her jobs was helping to execute a site-specific work of Sol LeWitt's, and attributes that experience to learning to use masking tape to mark off sections of a work to be painted.

Her palette is bleached pastels, something she refers to as her "cotton candy colors."
