    Anne Marie Graham was born in 1925. Enrolled in the RMIT Art School at the young age of fourteen, Anne Graham became the youngest student, male or female, to ever be enrolled in the school. Anne made one of her most original contributions to art in the form of the 'cut-in' format for her paintings, in which the shape of the canvas was changed by removing or cutting certain sections. Unfortunately, Anne's artistic vision was sometimes stifled by the Victorian attitude, mostly male, as critics and reporters could not come to terms with Anne's work.
