    Antonio Quesada Porto was born in Orense in 1932. He was a member of the most extensive family of artists in Spain and was considered self-taught. As a civil servant of the State his job in 1953 determined his residence in Zamora where he met the painter Antonio Pedrero and poets Claudius Rodriguez and Hilario Tundidor.

    In 1962 he participated in a collective exhibition of Orense artists in Madrid which attracts critical attention. With his brother Jaime he travels through Europe and has exhibitions in Paris and in numerous cities of Europe and later in the USA in Chicago.
