About Arthur W Palmer

  • Biography

    A cartoonist, painter, and etcher, he was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 27, 1913. Palmer studied with Frank T. Chamberlin at the Chouinard Art School in Los Angeles. During the 1940s he was an animator for Disney Studios. He later had a studio in San Francisco and taught at the California College of Arts and Crafts and the Palo Alto Art Club. His address was Woodacre (Marin County), California at the time of his death on July 7, 1982.
