Artist-activist Bambang is a founding member of Apotik Komik (Comics Apothecary) together with Popok Tri Wahyudi, Samuel Indratma and Ari Diyanto in 1995.
He was the curator of ArtJog12 in 2015. He had taken part in the Yogyakarta Biennale in 2003 and the Asian Triennale in Manchester in 2011, and also artist’s residency in Liechtenstein (2003), New Delhi, India (2006) and Darwin, Australia (2008).
He graduated with a Masters at the Bandung Institute of Technology in 2005. He has had several solos since his first, Pameran Kamar, in Yogyakarta in 1996.
