Belgium artist Berthe Dubail was born in 1911. Berthe Dubail was a pupil of Buisseret at the Academy of Fine Arts in Mons. The artist first experienced a figurative expressionist period, which drew on the will of synthesis and construction. Dubail met poet Pierre Bourgeois in 1960.
