    Bill Duma RCA, ASA (b.1936)

    A popular western Canadian painter and a member of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts, Bill Duma (aka: William Fredrick Duma) was born in Calgary, Alberta which is currently is home. His primary mediums are oils and acrylics. His primary subjects are Alberta's rural landscapes, snowscapes, mountains, rivers, flowers and forests. He has also travelled to and painted in British Columbia, the Yukon, Ontario, Newfoundland and the American Southwest. His best known styles are Impressionism* and Fauvism*, however his oeuvre also includes Abstract Expressionism* from early in his career. AskART images have some excellent illustrations of his work.
