Bruno Epple (b. July 1, 1931, Rielasingen – d. August 11, 2023, Allensbach) was a German painter, poet, and educator whose work bridged visual art and regional literature.

Epple began painting with modest materials—shoeboxes and small plywood boards—before developing a distinctive style that earned him recognition in exhibitions across Hamburg, Rio de Janeiro, and beyond. His paintings often reflected themes of naïve art, local folklore, and Bodensee culture, rendered with expressive color and symbolic detail.
