About Carl Wiederhold

    Wiederhold first studied architecture at the Technical University and then, in 1888-90, painting at the Berlin Arts and Crafts Museum. In 1905, he received the title of master of the "Bauhütte zur weißen Blatt". Carl taught from 1900-1930 at the Kunstgewerbeschule Hannover. In 1943, his studio and all the pictures inside are destroyed in a bombing raid. In 1958 a special exhibition takes place in honor of his 95th birthday at the Kunstverein Hannover. Wiederhold lived from around 1863/65 to 1961 in Germany.
