    Carlo Domenici, a very popular painter in Tuscany, enjoyed considerable success during his long career. In 1911 he enrolled at the "Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze", where he followed courses in drawing, etching and lithography. In 1915, when he was just seventeen, he exhibited at the "Società Amatori e Cultori" of Roma.

    In 1924 he exhibited forty works at the eighth exhibition of the "Gruppo Labronico" (a society of artists from Leghorn) at the Pesaro Gallery, Milan. This group was established in Leghorn in 1920 to publicize the art of Leghorn artists by organizing national and international exhibitions, and included Filippelli, Michelozzi, Natali, Romiti and Baracchini Caputi.
