Carlos Evangelista (b. 1943, Zamora, Spain) is a multidisciplinary artist whose career spans over six decades of experimentation in painting, sculpture, and architectural integration. Entirely self-taught, Evangelista began painting in 1960 and later moved to Madrid, where he immersed himself in the city’s vibrant artistic milieu. His early collaborations in workshops and studios of applied arts marked the beginning of a lifelong engagement with constructivist reliefs, many of which were conceived in dialogue with architectural spaces.
