About Cary Ennis

  • Biography

    Known for still life paintings of Native American pots as well as lush flowers, peppers, and other simple objects, Cary Ennis is intrigued by focused light upon these subjects against dark backgrounds. Her intent is to place the viewer in a mood of contemplation and meditation.

    She regularly visits an ashram in upstate New York and has photographs on her studio walls of spiritual leaders she admires from these visits as well as Acoma and Hopi pots.
