Casimiro Martinez Tarrasso was a Spanish artist who trained in Barcelona and Paris. He was known for his brilliant landscape paintings with violent, vivid, and luminous colors, following in the footsteps of great Catalan landscape painters. He also painted still lifes and had a studio in Palma de Mallorca, where he developed most of his artistic production.

Tarrassó participated in several exhibitions and was awarded various prizes throughout his career. His work is characterized by his obsession for chromatism, resulting in a profoundly sensorial, vitalist, and intuitive painting style. He is represented in various national and international private collections, as well as in museums in Mallorca.
