About Catherine Tyler

Born in 1949 in Falmouth, England despite an early passive interest in the visual arts, she has no formal art qualification. After 15 odd-years of part-time study and practice, she gave up full-time employment to concentrate entirely on painting together with her husband Neil.

Catherine’s main medium has always been oil, though she later started watercolour for ease when traveling, together with pen and ink work which has developed into the very recent practice of etching.
