    Harry Eliott real name Charles Edmond Hermet was a French cartoonist and illustrator. He was also particularly painter in watercolor.

    He is known for his prints, stencil, humourous riders, scenes of hunting with hounds, monks and others in the Victorian style as English illustrators Randolph Caldecott or Cecil Aldin. He also did etchings and postcards that were drawn were edited by Barré and Dayez .

    He also adopted an Anglo-Saxon pseudonym and try to pretend to be an Englishman.

    Mobilized into the War in 1914, in 1915 he married a young woman from Normandy, where he settled after being treated in 1917 for depression.
