Charles Wellington Boyle, Charles Washington Boyle (born March 9, 1861 in Lewisburg, Louisiana, † February 9, 1925 in New Orleans) was an American painter, art teacher and curator and director of the Delgado Museum of Art.

Charles Wellington Boyle was born in 1861 as the son of J. F. Boyle and Bertha F. Fortich in Lewisburg (according to some sources also New Orleans). He received his artistic education at the New York School of Art* and the Art Students League* of New York, where he was a student of the painter Robert Henri and Frank Vincent DuMond.
