Cisco Jiménez was born in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico in 1969. He is a Mexican contemporary artist whose work includes drawing, painting, sculpture and installation which focus on Mexico’s social and political environment. Jiménez was a recipient of the Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte (SNCA) art grant from 2014-2016, which is one of Mexico’s most significant grant programs created by the Mexican Ministry of Culture.
