    Colin Moss, born in 1914 in Ipswich, England, was an artist and teacher known for his exceptional draughtsmanship and social-realism style. He received his artistic training at Plymouth Art School and The Royal College of Art. During WWII, he worked for the Camouflage unit of the Air Ministry and later served in the Life Guards in the Middle East. Moss taught at Ipswich Art School and was a prominent figure in the Regional art scene. He was recognized for his wartime sketches and social documentation artworks, with pieces displayed in various museums and galleries.
