    Corrado Cagli (b.1910 / d.1976)

    Cagli was born in Ancona, in 1910. His family moved to Rome in 1915.

    Cagli painted a mural on a building in Sistina Street, in 1927, making his artistic debut. In 1928, he made another mural painting, in a hall in Vantaggio Street. Cagli held his first personal exposition in the "Gallery of Art of Rome," in 1932. Together with other prominent artists, including Giuseppe Capogrossi and Emanuele Cavalli, he formed the group of the "New Roman School of Painting," better known as Scuola Romana.
