    Danuta Urbanowicz (born November 3, 1932 in Radom, Poland, died July 18, 2018 in Krakow Poland was a Polish painter.

    She graduated from the Krakow Secondary School of Fine Arts in 1951. She studied in the years 1951–1957 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow in the studios of Professor Jacek Puget, Professor Adam Marczynski and Jonasz Stern. She earned a Diploma in 1957 in the studio of Professor Czeslaw Rzepinski.

    In the years 1959–1962, together with a group of fellow artists and actors, she co-founded the avant-garde puppet theater "Widzimisie" in Nowa Huta, a region of Krakow, Poland full of Social Realist architecture.
