Darren Paul was born in Belfast in 1944. He has always had a loving relationship with art. As a youth he remembers fondly art classes under the tutorage of Desmond Kinney and attending lectures delivered by Neil Shawcross at Belfast Technical College.

Darren is now a full time professional artist, and lives with his wife in a small picturesque village off the coast of Antrim, Northern Ireland. Such an atmosphere is conductive to painting and inspiration comes unbidden.
