Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In 1969 he immigrated to Israel. Between 1983-1997 he worked in painting sets and designing accessories for the film industry in Israel. At the end of the 90s of the 20th century he studies painting with Israel Herschberg. In 2005 he established together with Aram Gershoni the “Hatahana” school for figurative drawing in Tel Aviv Yaffo. Nowadays he teaches in Bezalel and in the Sapir College.

His works are to be found in both private and public collections. Nipo is one of the outstanding realism artists of recent years in the Israeli Art.
