A well-known New Orleans artist and teacher once described David Noll as the "poet of Louisiana landscape painters. Over the years, Noll has quietly explored southeast Louisiana's bayous, swamps, lakes and marshes in search of that unmarred beauty of the wilderness and natural landscape.
