Jia Di-Fei was born in Jilin, China. Graduated from Luxun Academy of Fine Arts in 1983, majoring in oil painting, he received silver prize of National Art Contest in 1984. He had also won many prize and awards from contests and exhibitions in China. His works are beloved by collectors worldwide and are appreciated and collected by many art museums. Jia paints with his solid drawing techniques and strong colors, bringing the objectives observed in lives into dramatic scenes, demonstrating the confusion, collision, illogic, awkwardness and ludicrousness lie in humanity, which also successfully indicates the strong personalities of the artist.
